Best known as an international artist who fills the largest venues such as the Royal Albert Hall with his spectacular Rhapsody in Rock shows and as a major star in China, Robert Wells returns to London with two of his top musicians and with singing sensations The Vocalettes, to offer a more intimate concert – “Close Up and Back to the Roots”.
With the piano at the centre of things, Wells and his fellow performers Lasse Risberg (Bass) and Roine Johansson (Drums) will allow themselves a lot of improvisation and musical playfulness during these very special shows, serving a large dose of Boogie Woogie inspired by the old masters, classical improvisations in Victor Borges spirit and after Wells own passion, interposing such pieces with Chopin and on into Jazz in a very personal mix.
If you like piano and real entertainment then you will love Robert Wells and The Vocalettes; an evening with music of the highest calibre.
