City Showcase: London – Renato D’Aiello with Strings Quartet CD Launch ‘Satori’

Matisse is a capella vocal quartet with strong roots into gospel, jazz and pop. Consisting of 4 wonderful individual singers who magically interact creating some amazing harmonies, Renato met Matisse on FB and after listening to a video on Youtube, invited them at Ronnie Scott’s bar during one of his regular Monday nights and it was love at first sight plus a great success. The idea is to explore the interaction between Renato’s jazz solos and Matisse on the amazing melodies and harmonies of Stevie Wonder’s compositions wich are a wonderful and inspiring territory for improvising. Renato has put together an astonishing band featuring Luca Boscagin, one of the greatest jazz guitarist in London at the moment and Franz Piombino, an amazing and strong bassist.
Expect a concert with some amazing solos, and grooves, behind the wonderful harmonies of Matisse.
