After previous sell out shows at Maidstone the Blues Junction are back once again. The Blues Junction is a star filled band that specializes in blues music from Chicago to Delta to West Coast to British, covering blues classics by the likes of Eric Clapton, BB King, Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Albert King, Etta James, Howlin' Wolf, Robert Cray...and many more greats of the blues genre.
The band is led on this occasion by the superb Errol Linton, who is an immaculate virtuoso of a blues harp player and one of the most exciting blues vocalists – inspiring, soulful and inventive on stage - his earthy voice are not to be missed!
Linton has opened the show for Screaming Jay Hawkins, Bo Diddley, Dr John and Blind Boys of Alabama and was featured alongside Big Bill Broonzy in BBC 2’s Arena documentary (Rhythms of the World) called Two Generations of the Blues.
Errol Linton is one of the UK’s finest contemporary blues musicians who is a powerful and emotive player. Already well established on the blues circuit with his own band, this is a rare opportunity to see him perform with a band of top blues musicians who have played worldwide - if you want the very best of the Blues...this special performance is not to be missed!
