Hamish Stuart
Show Time 8:30pm / Doors Open 7:00pm
Glasgow-born Hamish Stuart shot to fame in the 1970's as the falsetto voice and guitarist of the Average White Band, his distinctive songwriting and vocal and guitar style helping pave the way to AWB's extraordinary worldwide success. Hamish spent the rest of the 1980's touring, writing and recording with a galaxy of soul legends, including Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin and George Benson.
Hamish joined Paul McCartney’s band (where he switched between guitar and bass as necessary with McCartney) for McCartney's 1989 comeback album, Flowers in the Dirt, and appearing on several other albums and McCartney's world tours of 1989 and 1993.

Harold Sanditen: CD Launch of ‘Shades of Blue’
Show Time 8:30pm / Doors Open 7:00pm
Following the international success of the show by the same name, Harold Sanditen is delighted to return to The Pheasantry to launch his second CD, ‘Shades of Blue’, recorded live at the venue last autumn. Since bursting on to the scene in 2008, Sanditen has sold out venues in London, as well as across the USA and in Canada. ‘Shades of Blue’is a smooth mesh of jazz-cabaret, filled with diverse material that allowed Sanditen to explore his fascination with the word “blue” – from music and sound to color… and naughty to nice. Tunes like Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies” are comfortable on the disc with companions like Stevie Nicks “Landlside,” Jobim’s “No More Blues,” and “The Waters of March” as well as a ditty titled “Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives to Me.” Other songwriters on the CD include Billy Joel, Dizzy Gillespie, Jon Hendricks, Dave Frishberg, Noël Coward, Todd Rundgren, Deitz and Schwartz, Van Morrison and Leon Russell.
“If you like your blues smooth, your performer more musical than maudlin, and your jazz club more debonair than dingy, then Harold Sanditen: Shades of Blue is the show for you…… Smooth blues and razzamatazz jazz” – attitude.co.uk.
