Originally born and raised in Canada, Lauren relocated to London to pursue her music 5 years ago. Daughter of an accomplished jazz trumpeter father and music teacher mother, it is no surprise that Lauren grew up to have such an aptitude for music. She has traveled extensively around North America and Europe. She opened for Maynard Ferguson, played the Victoria International Jazz Festival, the Corpus Christi Jazz Festival in Texas and has partnered up with La Jazzlife Associazione in Northern Italy, touring there several times a year. Lauren was a top 20 finalist in the Riga Jazz Stage Competition in Riga, Latvia in 2014 and was a Top 5 Finalist in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2016, travelling to New Jersey to compete with the other 4 finalists where she performed for Shiela Jordan, Dianne Reeves and Christian McBride among others.
