He’ll also break down some of the familiar Drake grooves he plays and share his approach to working with both Drake and Daniel Caesar, in the studio and at stadium shows. Finally he’ll discuss the life lessons he lives by and how these have shaped and progresses his career and then take questions from the audience.

Before being fully capable of reaching the foot pedal at the age of three, Adrian’s passion for drums was clear. While playing, his natural sense of timing and rhythm was evident. His superior talent was noticed and nurtured within the church, school and college. During his high school years, Adrian was the recipient of many music awards, which included being named “Musician Of The Year” for three consecutive years. This recognition carried on throughout high school and even college.

With roots in gospel, Adrian branched out and has spent the last decade touring the world with multi Grammy winner Drake, even playing on several of his albums which include, Views, Nothing Was The Same and Take Care.

Adrian has also worked with countless artists such as, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Lil-Wayne, J-Cole, Eminem, Future, Usher, Meek Mill, Alicia Keys, TLC, Daniel Caesar, Florence and The Machine, Jessie Reyez, Alessia Cara, Serena Ryder and many more Canadian based artists. Adrian is working on releasing his own album in the upcoming months

As well as being a drummer, Adrian’s deep understanding of music is what sets him apart. Over the years, Adrian has developed a love for composing, creating music for various TV shows such as Kevin Hart’s TKO, Making It, Maria’s World, Beat Shazam and Steve Harvey’s Funder Dome.
