A Very Tormé Christmas

Event Has Passed

Last Show: Friday 21 st December 2018

Fresh off his US Symphony Pops tour, multi-award winning American jazz singer James Tormé returns to the UK for ‘A Very Tormé Christmas’ - a jazzed-out evening of all your holiday favourites. One of the great voices of a generation, James concludes by telling the story of, and performing, his father Mel and Bob Wells' ‘The Christmas Song’ (Chestnuts Roasting on An Open Fire) - a song both written for and bequeathed to Nat 'King Cole' on the same afternoon. Complete with additional verses (written by both Mel and the original songwriters) this is a jazz music experience that is not to be missed!
