MOBO nominated Afrikan Boy is a world music artist with a 21st century edge, taking in musical influences from across the globe whilst keeping a firm foot in the native sound of his country of origin, Nigeria. His approach of combining the traditional with the contemporary has seen him share a stage with such luminaries as Seun Kuti, MIA, Damon Albarn and Baaba Maal, and even moving into theatre, adapting his break out track ‘One Day I Went to Lidl’ for the stage with a collaboration with Ballahause productions in Berlin.
