Al MacSween is becoming known for his distinctive voice and unique approach to the piano. His experiences of working in a range of musical genres bring a rich palette of influences to his sound. He will be presenting new trio material featuring Edward Wakili Hick (drums) and Wonky Logic (synth/percussion).

Pianist, composer and producer Al MacSween is becoming known for his distinctive voice and unique approach to the piano. His experiences of playing within a staggering range of genres brings a rich palette of musical influences to his sound, from jazz, Afro-Cuban and West-African music to flamenco, Indian classical and Middle Eastern music.

In recent years he has worked as a sideman for numerous artists including Shankar Mahadevan, Omar Puente, Ruby Turner, Dennis Rollins, Kadialy Kouyate, Abstract Orchestra, Reem Kelani and many more, as well as founding and running award-winning award winning musical collective 'Kefaya' alongside guitarist Giuliano Modarelli. He will be presenting new trio material alongside virtuoso drummer Edward Wakili Hick and the multi-talented Wonky Logic on synth and percussion.
