"Atzmon's fluid lyricism is in full flow on songbook classics and worldly originals. But as sweet romance morphs to modernist uncertainty, the bittersweet balance and rich emotional palette equally impress." Financial Times

"Barnes, plays music that was radical 50 years ago - hard, urban post-bop - but he infuses it with so much passion and energy you could believe it was minted on the spot, which is always part of the story with jazz." John L. Walters, The Guardian

Alan Barnes and Gilad Atzmon, two of Britain’s most celebrated virtuoso reed players, join forces to promise the ultimate jazz night in British history.

The two men also promise to give the American songbook a good shaking, dropping fruits of bop and post-bop and fermenting with outrageous originals from deep in the barrel.

An evening of humour and superb music by a hand-picked band of stars. You can’t set the bar any lower than that-so be sure to buy your round!
