The wait is finally over and the annual fundraising event is back with Alex Hutton joined by Helena Debono and Louise Golbey, to raise much needed funds. During the pandemic small independent charities like THAI ANIMAL SANCUTARY & GREEK ANIMAL RESCUE have suffered greatly as funds, supplies and volunteers have been dangerously limited making it almost impossible for them to do the incredibly important work they do.

Thai and Greek Animal Rescue both organisations aim to improve quality of life for stray cats & dogs. They help the abused, neglected & injured animals as well as sterilising as many animals as funds allow and finding homes for the lucky few.

Alex Hutton is one of the UK Jazz’s hidden treasures. A fine composer, with an ear for folk and classical influences, he is a gifted, thoughtful improviser and a mainstay of the London Jazz scene who has worked with the leading figures from Jim Mullen and Pete King to Pete Wareham. Hutton’s own albums have been noted for a move away from conventional piano trio music, with a search for fresh approaches to the song form and an emphasis on capturing a broad spectrum of textures.

Andy Davies is an award-winning British trumpeter, writer & comedian leading his own band the Andy Davies Quartet currently the resident band for over 10 years at the famous Ronnie Scott’s Wednesday night jam session.

From South West London comes Helena Debono, a young Jazz/Soul/Pop vocalist. She has been captivating audiences with her emotional renditions of Jazz standards and her own original music since she was a teenager. Her natural, effortless vocals have already received acclaim amongst the UK Jazz scene and leaves audiences wanting to hear more.

Although classically trained and enjoying all genres of music, it was whilst attending the Arts Educational Schools in London that she discovered her love of Jazz and songwriting. Under the tuition of amazing Jazz pianists Paul Smith and Gabriel Latchin, Helena soon found her Jazz voice and never looked back. She has performed at many venues including Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Soho, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival and many more.

A favourite at PizzaExpress, Louise Golbey returns with her sultry soulful tones. The voice behind the Mercedes EQS advert, Louise Golbey is a an established Soul singer /songwriter.

A BBC Introducing Alumni (Glastonbury, Maida Vale) and regular performer at legendary venues Ronnie Scotts, The 606 and The Jazz Cafe, she has played alongside Paloma Faith, Jessie J, Sam Smith, Lianne Lahavas & Ed Sheeran (who is also in one of her early music videos).

Louise is one of the most in-demand openers on the live music circuit, supporting George Benson at Kenwood House, En Vogue and Roberta Flack at The Indigo2, a sold out UK tour with The Stylistics, and Roy Ayers, Dexter Wansel, Evelyn Champagne King, Omar, Heatwave and Eric Benet at The Jazz Cafe.

Louise also performed at The o2 arena for the Electric Soul Festival in 2019 (hosted by Trevor Nelson) alongside Kool and The Gang, Brand New Heavies and Level 42.

With a lot of support from BBC 1 Xtra, 6 Music, Jazz FM, Mi Soul, Radio 2 and radio stations across Europe over the years.
