Stephen De Martin & David Roper are back at the Pheasantry by popular demand with their cabaret Blood sweat and T shirts. For more than 10 years David & Stephen were the famous faces of Jonathan Ross’s house band 4 Poofs and a Piano and sung and shimmied to many of the worlds most famous luminaries. In this intimate cabaret David & Stephen share some of their unique memories with you, set against a musical backdrop of artists from Bacharach, Abba, Streisand and many more.

Stephen De Martin and David Roper were original members of Jonathan Ross’s camp house band, 4 Poofs and a Piano on his BAFTA and comedy award winning Friday Night with Jonathan Ross on BBC1, which broadcast from 2001 to 2010.

For more than 10 years Stephen & David sang, played and shimmied for an impressive list of A list celebrities including Tom Cruise, Liza Minnelli, Elton John, Priscilla Presley, Joan Rivers and many others who have done rehab. They have sung with Neil Diamond & been shot by Quentin Tarantino. They enjoyed a frenzied life on the road including with the legendary Joan Collins and enjoyed several appearances at the Glastonbury festival and were the Edinburgh fringe darlings for many years with a huge fan base including Tim Minchin & Julie Waters.

They released their own party album called “Screaming party Anthem in 2006” and even knocked Blue of the Top Spot in 2003 with their own single Camp up your Christmas.

Since the original band disbanded in 2012, David & Stephen have continued to perform together and launched the Sydney Mardi Gras festival and made several other appearances. David as musical director has worked on a string of Pantomimes including with the legendary Barry Humphries (AKA Dame Edna Everage) and Priscilla Presley and has gone on to compose for several BBC TV shows including Decimate.
