London based, award winning Soprano Joanne McGahon is an international performer of startling versatility, charming audiences wherever she goes whether as an imposing and dramatic opera singer or dazzling the masses with her musical theatre showstoppers.
Joanne trained with English National Opera and the National Opera Studio. Her latest album “The London Soprano” recorded with the multi-award winning City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Paul Bateman soared into the top ten of The Official Classical Charts as well as being featured on Classic FM.
Joanne was recently honoured to sing in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen accompanied by All Souls Orchestra for the 150th Anniversary of Scripture Union which was broadcast on BBC Songs of Praise. As an ambassador, Joanne was thrilled to represent the UK3 Lions Team at the Art Football Festival by singing at The Moscow State Hall gala concert, The British Embassy and The Locomotiv Stadium.
Joanne’s most recent appearances have included Prom Praise at the Royal Albert Hall with All Souls Orchestra, a gala performance for the charity Lost Chord featuring Sir Cliff Richard and headlining The Last Night of The Water Rat Proms with Rick Wakeman and the Orion Symphony Orchestra.
In 2020, The London Soprano’s latest release O Holy Night went into the iTunes Charts at Number Two.
