Yuri Sabatini
Acclaimed for his warm Belcanto technique, Yuri has performed principal roles with various opera companies across the UK, including Nemorino in Donizetti's L’Elisir d’Amore, Elvino in Bellini's La Sonnambula, Arturo in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Malcolm in Verdi's Macbeth, Count Almaviva in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Rodolfo in Puccini's La Boheme and Don Jose in Bizet's Carmen.
Yuri was awarded Best Male Singer in the Royal Opera House BP Summer Screens Competition in 2008, which saw him singing to over 10,000 people in London’s Trafalgar Square.
Recent solo appearances include those at the London Stock Exchange, Mansion House, St Giles Cripplegate and the Guildhall. Abroad, Yuri has performed for discerning audiences in Florence, Munich and Warsaw.
He has been featured on numerous recordings and television appearances, including BBC Songs of Praise, and on Channel 4. Alongside his busy performance schedule, Yuri enjoys a thriving career as a singing teacher in London.
