The Piano Lounge, PizzaExpress Live’s newest venue, is based in the heart of the West End, close to Covent Garden, Soho and ‘Theatreland’. Every Thursday and Friday night, you can expect to be entertained by world class pianists and singers, with special guest performers from the worlds of jazz, soul and musical theatre. This very spcial evening will be hosted by singer-pianist Anthony Strong.

Bringing together timeless repertoire and a serious jazz sensibility, British singer-pianist Anthony Strong returns with his latest release, Easy Sailing.

With more than a decade of gigging under his belt - from the Hollywood Bowl in the West, to festivals across Asia in the East - his music is characterised by a dynamic live show which features music from a mix of iconic songwriters spanning jazz, blues, soul and even pop.

With more than 20 years of music industry experience, he brings together a trusted collection of London-based musicians to work through hard-swinging classics, sumptuous ballads and blues-infused originals.

Things may not have been easy sailing recently, but Anthony proves once again that a fresh take on feel-good classics can give music fans from all sides a much-needed break.
