2017 has been a busy year for Ash Walker. Since forming his Trio earlier this year, with Ash Walker on Keys & Melodica (don’t forget the Home-Made Dub Siren), Marc Cyril on Bass and Tim Shackman on Drums, he has added Lord Laville on Vocals & Jazz trumpeter Yazz Ahmed. With the more recent addition of Visuals & Fragrances (Controlled by Ash’s friend Ezra-Lloyd Jackson) They have formed what is now called the ‘Ash Walker Experience’ which is a breathtaking Multi-Sensory show!
They have been booked along side prestigious acts across the UK that include, Anchorsong (winner for album of the year by BBC Radio 6Music 2016), The Ashley Henry Trio, Mammal Hands, Gilles Peterson, The Herbaliser & George Clinton at the The Funk & Soul Weekender in May earlier this year and Secret Garden Party & Green Man Festival.
Ash Walker’s Radio support from the BBC Radio 6 Music crew continues steadily, with Don Letts, Gideon Coe, Gilles Peterson and Tom Robinson and Tom Ravenscroft all showing regular support live on Air.

And did we forget to mention Ash is also a DJ and has long performed in support of prestigious acts including The Specials, Lee Scratch Perry, David Rodigan, El-B and Zed Bias?
His tracks from his debut album ‘Augmented 7th’ and 2nd Studio Album ‘Echo Chamber’ have featured on NTS, Radar Radio, World-Wide FM, JAZZ FM, BBC Radio Six Music, Jazz FM, as well as receiving glowing praises from publications such as Clash Magazine, Okayplayer, XLR8R & Konbini to name yet some more some highlights.
