"Jazz singing, trombone-slinging pop chanteuse Aubrey Logan may be just what the jazz world needs right now. Injecting an invigorating shot of youth into jazz tradition, the Seattle born wonder is almost impossible to categorise."

Matt Munoz, The Californian.

Aubrey Logan takes a song you’ve heard a thousand times and spins it on its heels.  It’s new, it’s fresh and it delights. And she writes, oh does she write! Songs with lyrics that paint the chambers of the heart with all the colours on the human palette. And whether she’s jammin’ on her trombone or sailing through a song with her nothing-held-back, multi-octave vocal instrument, she captivates audiences and delivers originality to everything modern in music.  Her style as an entertainer ranges from sassy to sultry, and her performances never fail to elicit the highest critical praise.

Aubrey Logan is jazz, yes, but she can’t be defined by jazz alone.  Hear her tap into the graces of a neo-soul ballad, then claim your seat in First Class as she pilots a flight of classic rock.

She is a graduate of Boston’s renowned Berklee College of Music where she performed with and studied under trombonist, arranger, band-leader and Grammy nominee Phil Wilson who become her most influential mentor.

Aubrey was the 2009 winner of the Audience Choice Award and took 1st Place at the Shure-Montreux Jazz Voice Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

She has shared the stage with a host of big names including Burt Bacharach, Linda Ronstadt, Smokey Robinson, Pharrell Williams and Scott Bradlee.  Her vocals have been described as ranging from delicate and vulnerable to those that soar through the ceiling.  Similarly her instrumental riffs reflect phenomenal mastery and a deep respect for the traditions of jazz trombone.

She has recorded with an impressive number of artists including Patrice Rushen, Josh Groban, Quincy Jones, Vinnie Colaiuta, Paul Jackson Jnr, Abraham Laboriel, Nikki Yanofsky to name but a few and has attracted enthusiastic fans all across the US, and now, throughout much of the world.

The international Aubrey recently wrapped a tour (11 cities in the UK plus Dubai,U.A.E.) as a featured artist with Scott Bradlee’s acclaimed Postmodern Jukebox.  In autumn 2016, Aubrey swung stateside in 12 major U.S. cities and headlined jazz festivals in Boston and Bakersfield while also performing at top London venues.

She has been featured extensively in the UK press and on television including London Jazz News, the Evening Standard and The Protagonist magazine.?

Aubrey has just put the finishing touches on new material for her first album due to be released in the Spring of 2017.

With Aubrey showcasing her talent by performing some of the songs from her upcoming album, her performances at Pizza Express are guaranteed to be exciting and entertaining evenings from the most charismatic of performers.
