Legendary London based powerhouse jazz pioneer vocalist Aydenne Simone (aka 'Mama') is back at The Pheasantry to deliver a magical swinging Christmas special, with jazz genius Benet Mclean. A magical swinging Christmas show featuring two jazz giants Aydenne Simone & Benet McLean, with guest up and coming jazz star pianist Liam Stevens. With jazz giant Benet McLean and Aydenne Simone 's terrific band Jazz Culture, Aydenne will of course be performing songs from her fabulous classic jazz album “All of me”, but!, they will be bringing a little Christmas magic to the stage with beautiful swinging jazz renditions of classic Christmas songs.

Benet Mclean and Aydenne are firm friends and share one main thing in common “quality first, always!” Benet as many have said is a total genius, his ability to fuse complexity with beauty when he writes is just astonishing. As a performer and a musician he has few rivals he just oozes a standard of playing that would be difficult match. This Christmas Special show is so magical, that it also includes a guest performance by one of Aydenne and Benet's favourite young pianists Liam Stevens who is simply an astonishing talent. He is a name to watch, already fast becoming a star on the London jazz scene, Liam plays way beyond his years some would say, but Aydenne says “His age is not relevant, what is relevant, is the sheer quality of his playing, the respect he clearly pays to his influences. I am knocked out by his playing , just wow!, no other word works!. We will be buying his albums for years to come, what a talent!”
