Internationally renowned singer and PizzaExpress fave Barb Jungr and Grammy & Emmy award winner John McDaniel are together again to launch the CD of their new collaboration 'Float Like A Butterfly – The Songs of Sting'. This collection has audiences and critics glowing. The pair continue to have worldwide success with live concerts and the CD of their Beatles collection, Come Together, now available worldwide. This new show features some of Sting’s best known and also lesser known songs, with Jungr as always bringing new meaning to classics 'Fields of Gold', 'Message in a Bottle' & 'Englishman in New York', in heavenly partnership with McDaniel’s nonpareil musicality, arrangements, and harmonies and match to her humour. In their shows together, Barb and John collide British jazz and cabaret nous with American musical theatre chutzpah and this phenomenal songbook, to generate an embarrassment of talent and expertise. Barb Jungr is known for her extraordinary performances and interpretations of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Jacques Brel. John is a pianist, singer, arranger and partner in banter. He doesn’t even need to bother employing his vast experience as a conductor, a composer and a Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award-winning producer of theatre, albums and television. He has worked on Broadway as a conductor, musical director, and musical / vocal arranger. He has accompanied stars including Betty Buckley, Tyne Daly, Brooke Shields and Patti LuPone, whose 1995 one-woman show he arranged and conducted. He also spent seven years in living rooms across America as the Musical Director and bandleader on The Rosie O’Donnell Show.
