Barb Jungr ' Shelter From The Storm' - songs of hope for troubled times, featuring Jamie Safir on piano and Davide Mantovani on bass, arranged by jazz giant Lawrence Hobgood. Considered to be the finest cabaret singer in recent times, Jungr is renowned for her unique vocal style, interpretation of song and radical approach to arrangements. For 'Shelter From The Storm', her twentieth album, Jungr tapped into New York's dynamic jazz scene and joined hands across the Atlantic in a major collaboration with Hobgood. The resulting record and accompanying performances were the American progressive and contemporary jazz piano virtuoso's first major collaboration since his Grammy award-winning work with Kurt Elling.
