Blue Lab Beats is the brainchild of NK-OK and Mr. D.M - The pair are the production engine room behind many of todays freshest new acts - Age Of Luna, Ruby Francis , Louis VI . Their production style is also sort after by many of todays top stars – Blue Lab Beats have become sort after remixers Emelie Sande, Laura Mvula, Dua Lipa and Rag n Bone man to name a few. The production style is raw but sophisticated - musical but not introvert , so understandably their remixes have spawned stream hits into the millions . Their recent Jazz FM performance caught the attention of the music world, clocking up over 500K+ views in just over a month sparking worldwide bookings at Glastonbury Festival , Latitude, Wilderness, Womad, The Great Escape, Blue Note Jazz Festival Paris , a sold out debut headline show at Ronnies Scotts and a sold out Mau Mau Bar with Jazz Refreshed as well as support slots in Italy Milan/Rome and Belgium with the Jazz legend Mulatu Astatke.

Radio play has also come from Huw Stephens (Radio1) Mary Anne Hobbs (6 Music) and Julie Adenuga (Beats 1) as well as local radio Solar , Stomp , Peace FM, Reprezent and Mi-Soul. Their recordings have seen international sales with their Blue Skies EP Jazz charting in 13 countries – with a #1 in Hungary #4 Japan #8 UK .The Blue Skies Single jazz charted in 4 countries the highlight being a #2 in Spain and #4 Sweden and their”Keep Moving” Single has currently jazz charted in 6 countries

Their journey began at a weekend arts club - WAC in Belsize Park. NK-OK met Mr DM invited him back to jam and from there, the two started making music in the now Infamous Blue Lab Studios.

Recently Real World Studios and Bowers and Wilkins partnered with Blue Lab Beats Sessions for just over a week at the legendary Peter Gabriel owned studio in Bath. Features on the new forthcoming BLB Album include stars from the New Wave Jazz World Kojey Radical, Kaidi Akinnibi, Triforce, Nubya Garcia and Nerija, Moses Boyd, Ashley Henry, Sheldon Agwu.
