Legendary American singer-songwriter-pianist, Bob Dorough, was born in December 1923. His last visits to London (both while in his 90s) attracted full houses as he joined forces with regular collaborators Geoff Gascoyne (bass), Sebastiaan De Krom (drums) and singers Trudy Kerr and Sarah Moule at Dean Street. In a celebration of his unique musical gifts and in honour of what would ahve been his 100th Birthday, Geoff, Sebastian, Trudy and Sarah reunite to explore his impressive catalogue of songs along with standards, with which Bob was associated through the years. The group are joined by another of Bob's UK friends, singer-pianist Joseph Paice.

Bob Dorough performed and recorded with Blossom Dearie in Paris in the 1950s, his songs have been recorded by Jamie Cullum, Miles Davis, Diana Krall ('Devil May Care'), Mel Torme ('Comin Home Baby'), De La Soul ('3 is the Magic Number'!), and countless others. As a performer he influenced Mose Allison, Mark Murphy and many more singers. As musical director of the US TV series 'Schoolhouse Rock', Dorough entertained and instructed millions of unsuspecting children throughout the 1970s and 80s.
