Celeste Celebrates Elis Regina

When Sicilian born Singer Celeste, first discovered Elis Regina, it was love at first sight. Elis’s capability of singing Bossa, Jazz, Pop and Blues, mixing them up into a unique sound, enthralled Celeste’s heart, and to top it all off, Elis sang in Celeste's favourite music language, Brazilian Portuguese! It's no wonder that Celeste identified herself artistically with Elis. Celeste was impressed, and later she started to listen to Elis’s music over and over again, with the ongoing aim to capture Regina's uniqueness. Celeste does not strive to imitate her, but likes to pay homage in her way! Celeste carefully picked the songs in order to showcase the widest possible repertoire of Elis. Alongside a charming ensemble of great musicians, they will bring back to life this iconic Brazilian.
