"Our finest jazz singer”

Clive Davis, The Times

Claire has  released 18 must have CD’s and performed all over the world with her trio and, worked extensively with the late Sir Richard Rodney Bennett in an intimate cabaret duo setting in England  and USA.

No stranger to The Pheasantry where she sold out in our 2019 Series, Claire opened the 2015 London Jazz Festival; sang in the 2016 Jazz Divas series; sold out Ronnie Scots with her Swedish trio to wide acclaim, and has performed “Just the Two of Us” concerts with Joe Stilgoe at St James Theatre and Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street. Her most recent Three’s Company show with Iain Mackenzie and David Newton at Crazy Coqs was an outstanding success.

Awarded the OBE for her services to jazz.

Claire’s new album “Believin It” is a stunning showcase as this video taste proves.

David Newton, is the UK’s most highly regarded and record breaking award winning jazz pianist – 13 times winner of the Best Pianist in the British Jazz Awards.

Whilst the most in demand accompanist for singers and instrumentalists alike, and the band member most often selected to appear with jazz greats, David is also his own soloist and creative master. He is not only able to swing with a hard driving left hand but also perform delightful heartfelt ballads vowing the most romantic feelings.

His solo recordings of “Tea for Two”, “Sweet Lorraine”, “They Can't Take That Away From Me”, “Have You Met Miss Jones” & “Stompin’ At The Savoy”, among many others, are already collectors items.

David played through the lockdown and here with a stylish, very jazzy up tempo “Luck Be A Lady”.

If you like Bill Evans, Art Tatum  and Errol Garner, wait till you hear and  be amazed by David Newton” – The Hoste of Jazz
