Winner of the British Jazz Awards Best Singer on no less than 7 occasions and awarded the OBE for her services to jazz, Claire Martin is unchallenged as a great British star on the international scene. Having recorded over 20 albums, appearing on the largest stage in BBC Proms, in sell out shows in previous Jazz Divas series, in the 2018 Century of 100 Songs series and in compelling duos with Liane Carroll in the London Jazz Festivals of 2017 & 2018 and in memorable 'Just The Two Of Us' shows with Joe Stilgoe, her performance in this series, featuring Jim Mullen -guitar and Mike Gorman – organ is eagerly anticipated.
