Daniel March is an Australian born Artist who is no stranger amongst the independent music scene around the world. Like trying to trap lightning in a bottle, boxing Daniel in one specific Genre’ proved a difficult task, although he has managed to take his place in the soul scene whether as a co-writer for artists such as Motown artist Tiana Major 9 or a musician having toured with Acoustic Soul icon and Grammy award winner Tony Rich Project, or MPL funk legend St Paul Peterson (The Time/ The Family) and legendary Grammy award winning artist Van Hunt. Daniel lived in Atlanta in 2012 where he cut some of his early recordings alongside the likes of Khari Cabral Simmons (India Arie) and Chantae Cann (Snarky Puppy) and UK Broken Beat veteran Daz I Kue (Bugz in the Attic). His 2015 single ‘Nina’ gained him some recognition around the world with Soul Bounce hailing him as the ‘Rnb Eric Clapton’.

Daniel's ep’s boast of eclecticism while maintaining his own identity throughout, with Bill Withers inspired tunes such as ‘Black & White’ to the Grunge esq ‘End of a Romance’ from his 2018 release, ‘Stoneflower’ Japanese label P Vine Records and South Korean label Leaplay records released as a self-titled Album in 2019 made up of 10 songs from all releases. He relocated to London in 2015 where his follow up single ‘Falling for you’ gained success on the UK radio waves including BBC with a remix by Ashley Beedle on Ramrock records. Perhaps his inability to be boxed into one thing, is really his advantage point, allowing him to wear many hats whether as an artist or touring guitarist/performer, or songwriter/producer, his ability to bob and weave through the music industry with such versatility makes him a triple threat. A future classic throwback, is how to describe his upcoming single 'Rocket' it shows another perfect example of how Daniel effortlessly wears his eclectic mix of influences on his sleeve, while maintaining his own sound. Channeling the likes or Prince & Little Dragon, with hints of Nile Rodgers, Daniel delivers a sound that is both reminiscent of classic age songwriting and funk, but with a sonic of todays current sounds. Daniel played all the instruments on 'Rocket' (Drums by Tully Ryan) and produced the debut single at Hazy Cosmic Jive Studios, Newcastle, with Gareth Hudson during lockdown 2020. The single will be released September 3 with his new album, 'The Modern Artefact' slated for release in January 2022 release.
