PizzaExpress Live (Holborn)

Ilana Lorraine established Sessions58 11 years ago with Nate James as a platform for emerging artists to perform and connect their own original music. Since lockdown, Ilana took it one step further to take the artists who have organically formed ”Collective” to various venues across London and now even overseas to widen the audience and build their reach. In this new partnership with PizzaExpress Live, Ilana will be curating evenings where she brings 4 artists to join her under the spotlight.

With deep piercing vocals and poignant lyrics set to a backdrop of genre weaving styles and sonics, his music can be described as a unique blend of Alt RnB, Hip-Hop, and Pop, which he uses to touch on a diverse range of themes - always maintaining his own distinctive style of visceral delivery. As a multidisciplinary artist, I Am i-D often pairs his songs with raw and honest engaging narrative-based music videos, that deftly reflect the complexity and nuance of human psychology, politics and interpersonal relationships.

Her debut single "Bossy" is available on all music platforms.

Ilana Lorraine

Ilana Lorraine has become known as more than a community leader than just producer, bringing people together through her events, stages and her own music too.

Ilana’s music is hauntingly beautiful. It stirs the soul, the mind, and plucks ever so gently at the heartstrings. Her transformative lyrics and soulful voice awaken the senses, provide hope and evoke courage.

Her internal voice optimistic and determined to keep love alive, a prayer to encourage hope, an inner mantra to awaken her heart, and a calling to have self-love and find strength.

Ilana’s singing voice and songs became a mantra and call out to passersby as she sang overlooking a lake in her lockdown initiative “The Fairytale” to keep music alive and bring serenity to the public in the Summer of 2020. It bloomed into a safe haven for the local community in  London infamous Hampstead Heath and got imprinted and recorded in history when it got written as a full chapter in the book The Heath, written by The Beatles Biographer Hunter Davis and published last year.
