David Hunter is an actor and singer best known for his West End roles in Tony and Olivier Award winning Musicals, ‘Once’, ‘Kinky Boots’ and ‘Waitress’. He joins us this Halloween to celebrate the release of his second EP (to be revealed).

David trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and has since forged careers in both music and acting, performing at every major Arena in the UK, as well as The National Theatre and in the West End.

Before his most notable West End shows, David gained national notoriety on ITV's ‘Superstar’ as he competed to play the role of 'Jesus' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's groundbreaking musical, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. He performed nightly in front of a live audience of millions, reaching the semi-finals and receiving high praise throughout for his honest, dramatic performances.

David's West End credits include ‘Waitress’ (Adelphi), ‘Kinky Boots’ (Adelphi), ‘Once’ (Phoenix), ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ (Adelphi), Songs For A New World (Palladium), ‘Tommy’ (Prince Edward) and ‘Seussical’ (Arts).

Other theatre credits include ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ (National Theatre and UK Tour), ‘The Hired Man’ (Leicester Curve and Colchester Mercury), ‘Pub’ (The Royal Exchange), ‘Spinach’ (The Royal Exchange) and ‘The Mayor of Zalamea’ (Liverpool Everyman).

Film and TV credits include ‘Nativity 3’ (Mirrorball), ‘Holly City’ (BBC), ‘Doctors’ (BBC).

David's first EP, ‘Silver Linings’, is available now on iTunes and streaming sites, featuring his own original music. His second EP (to be revealed) is released alongside his gig at Pizza Express, Holborn.

As the frontman of Pop/Rock band ‘Reemer’, David recorded with the Producers responsible for albums by The Rollings Stones and The Who, before earning huge support slots, playing alongside The Feeling, Scouting For Girls and finally McFly on their full UK Arena Tour.
