"My first influences came from my parents, second was growing up in north-west London, and third: African culture. My mother was Nigerian, born and raised in Hackney. My dad was born in Wales. Whilst growing up in northwest London, I was exposed to a variety of musical genres especially around Camden, Kilburn High Road, Ladbroke Grove and Carnival."

"Gary and Janine introduced me to the scene. Camilla George, who works at my previous school, introduced me to them. Gary and Janine have been helping me since the day we met, and I am eternally grateful. It's incredible how large the Tomorrow's Warriors family is; it's also those I've met as a result of them who have helped shape who I am today. I am finishing my last year at University of Manchester and run a collective called Purple Collective up there.

Beginning of this year, I joined a legendary Ghanaian band called Osibisa, and the amazing Janet Kay and Carroll Thompson. I also recently had the opportunity to tour with Moses Boyd in Hong Kong."
