The Pheasantry (Chelsea)

Earl is one of those artistes quite impossible to sum up in a few words - a true 'one off'. He is one of the UK's finest classic Jazz and Bossa Nova singers, self-accompanied on guitar and piano, as well as being a world-class songwriter, renowned for his amazing 'vocal trumpet' solos, and all of this is woven together with his unique brand of wit and charm. Unmissable! He is joined by Altamar, who are Joan Shenton and Corina Poore, both born in Latin America – Joan in Chile and Corina in Uruguay. Having first met at school in Buenos Aires they were re-united in London, where they now offer their special mixture of Latin American music from Cuba to Argentina.

ALTAMAR – Joan Shenton and Corina Poore.

Both Joan and Corina were born in Latin America – Joan in Chile and Corina in Uruguay. Having first met at school in Buenos Aires they were re-united in London.

Corina has always continued to sing and play while Joan was tempted away from music for a while and joined the BBC as reporter and presenter, most memorably on BBC's 'Nationwide' and 'Swap Shop' on Capital Radio.

Once more together, they offer their special mixture of Latin American music from Cuba to Argentina...
