Success Express continues to introduce exciting new Independent artists to new audiences at PizzaExpress Live. For our first show of 2023 we are thrilled to bring two exceptional PizzaExpress Live headliners to the legendary Dean Street venue - Echo Wants Her Voice Back and Edmund Jeffery. With special guest Stevie Reed.

Echo Wants Her Voice Back A.K.A Eleni Skarpari is a Cypriot-born, London based singer-songwriter, and actress, often described as folk noir with blues rock influences who often weaves Greek myth storytelling in her songs. Echo’s distinctive voice, notable stage presence and compelling lyrics have been praised by music publications such as Songwriting Magazine, drawing comparisons to Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Bjork and Lorde. With a captivating energy and stunning voice Echo Wants Her Voice Back has steadily built a loyal and growing following of appreciative fans and music lovers. Echo Wants Her Voice Back is currently collaborating on an album with singer/songwriter Edmund Jeffery and will be sharing the stage with him on 17th January at PizzaExpress Jazz Club Dean Street.  

Edmund Jeffery

Edmund Jeffery uses percussive guitar playing and soulful melodies to depict genuine stories of a North London Singer-Songwriter.  Previous singles ‘Low‘ and ‘Moving’ have reached the top ten in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter chart, leading to regular solo performances in Italy, Poland, Germany, Estonia and Lithuania and the UK. His highly regarded debut Album “Perspective” was released at a special sold out show at PizzaExpress Holborn in 2019. Edmund has landed solo performances at Round House, BBC Radio Theatre and most impressively Wembley Arena. He has also had much success with Singer/Songwriter collective ‘Winter Springs’ playing UK festivals including ‘Barn on the Farm’ and ‘Isle of Wight Festival’.  Edmund is currently collaborating on an album with Echo Wants Her Voice Back and will be sharing the stage with Echo on 17th January at PlzzaExpress Jazz Club Dean Street.

Stevie Reed

Yorkshireman Stevie Reed has been busy writing for other artists and returns to the stage tonight after a break from gigging, to air some of the songs he’s currently working on in the studio.

With previous performances at Bush Hall, Islington’s O2 Academy, PizzaExpress Live and The Blues Kitchen, Songwriting Magazine have called his work ‘Simon & Garfunkel-ish’ and ‘rousing’.
