Her contributions to Kairos 4Tet helped them bring home a 2011 MOBO Award, while her distinctive voice led The Observer to deem her “The new face of British jazz 2012”. Alongside performing in venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, London Jazz Festival and Love Supreme in the UK, Emilia has toured extensively in Europe.
In 2017 she is thrilled to be performing with her new trio featuring Luca Boscagin (guitar) and Fulvio Sigurta (trumpet). Both musicians hail from Italy but have carved a place for themselves on the London jazz scene.
The trio is a natural evolution from Emilia’s last eponymous album ‘Ana’ and continues to blur the lines between jazz/folk and alt-pop through original compositions, refreshing takes on standards and new renderings of pop classics from artists such as Paul Simon.
