Making her debut in our Jazz Divas Series, it’s a warm welcome to Emma Smith, one of the most exciting and distinctive voices of her generation. Spanning several genres, scenes and stages, Emma has performed widely appearing in the O2 arena, on the Graham Norton Show as well as the top international jazz clubs. Performing and recording with some of the world’s biggest stars including Michael  Buble and Robbie Williams, she has already collected awards in her own name, including London Music Awards Rising Star and the Worshipful Company of Musicians, Jazz Star of the Year with the award concert at Crazy Coqs.

Emma is a member of the Ronnie Scotts All Stars Group.

Most recently her immersion in music has taken her into broadcasting as a presenter on BBC Radio 3 and a BBC4 TV music documentary. 

Accompanying Emma on piano is the most talented and in demand Jamie Safir currently working internationally with major music stars as well as a significant U.K. presence, most recently for JBGB Events with Elaine Delmar and the music of Lena Horne
