Fiona-Jane Weston returns to The Pheasantry with 'Heroines', a selection from her acclaimed one-woman shows 'Wartime Women', 'Looking for Lansbury' and 'Loving London', each of which garnered rave reviews. Featuring songs and words of real heroic women, from Hannah Snell who joined the army as a man, to the war heroines who risked their health manufacturing weapons. There’s even Angela Lansbury, and some of Shakespeare’s heroines, by special permission of Amanda McBroom.

Actress, singer, cabaret performer and writer Fiona-Jane Weston performs an eclectic slate of theatre and cabaret productions across the UK and Internationally.

She has played to capacity houses both in London and New York in her one-woman show 20th Century Woman. Loving London soon followedand received highly acclaimed reviews, then Wartime Women which also received several four-star reviews. Last year she created another critical triumph with Looking for Lansbury as her tribute to the great Dame Angela. In this year of Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary, she was given special permission by Amanda McBroom to sing some of her songs inspired by the Bard. She is currently hosting Fiona-Jane & West End Friends, a series of Sunday night interview shows at the Phoenix Artists Club.

William Godfree is a musical director and composer for television, theatre and the concert hall. He has recently been touring as MD in Roy Hudd’s Very Own Music Hall.
