London-based singer and composer, known for her performances of Parisian style jazz and tango, Gabrielle moved from her native Belgium to London following success reaching the final of the French Idol competition in 2003.
She studied jazz at the Guildhall in London, and is performing with her own quintet and big band in addition to touring, television and radio appearances.
Gabrielle has performed at top London venues, from intimate jazz clubs to concert halls. She sang with the Aurora Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall - Southbank Centre, at Ronnie Scott’s Upstairs, The Royal Albert Hall, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho and Hideaway.
At St James Theatre, she played to great acclaim twice at the EFG London Jazz Festival and for its Jazz Divas series. She also sang at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
Recently interviewed on London Live TV and on BBC RADIO 4 Loose Ends for the release of Notes from Paris album.
She has recorded three albums and completed three UK tours, gathering fans in jazz clubs, theatres and arts centres from Wakefield to St Ives. Further afield, she has performed in Europe and the US.
Gabrielle received rave reviews for her two special shows in 2015 and 2016, "The Music of Michel Legrand" and “Claude Nougaro”.
For her third album Across the Bridge, she has composed all the material.
