Last Show: Monday 31 st October 2016

The Pheasantry (Chelsea)

Scheduled for release this October, the 'I Believe' EP presents six original songs by London-based singer-songwriter Graham Bleasdale. Produced by Derek Nash and recorded in London, the music is imbued with a contemporary jazz/blues feel. Graham will be appearing with his band and gospel singers, along with very special guest: Derek Nash.

“Graham Bleasdale’s I Believe is a delight to listen to. His well-crafted songs, pertinent to these times, are conveyed with soulfulness and wonderfully merge the sound of pop, soul, gospel and jazz. I found the song ‘Impossible To Dance’ impossible to forget!”

Ken Burton – musician and BBC presenter

Graham’s highly distinctive sound has really blossomed on I Believe with his own jazz-inspired piano playing, in harmony with gospel singers and an eclectic blend of jazz, blues and gospel music. Graham has been working in the studio with some of London’s top musicians, including Derek Nash (saxophone), Geoff Gascoyne (bass), Darby Todd (drums), Neil Angilley (keyboards) and Al Cherry (guitar). The songs on the EP range from the autobiographical I Miss You and the classic jazz/blues ballad Today to the dancefloor groove of Impossible To Dance and the inspirational 'We Are All God’s Children'.

Coming from the heart, Graham writes songs that speak of his own life experience. As a singer and songwriter, Graham has an undeniable ability to make music that can bridge cultural and geographical boundaries alike.  His songs are at once emotional, uplifting and full of hope.
