"One of the musical voices of the year, discovered right here on this show"

Graham Norton, BBC Radio2

A beguiling British singer/songwriter, garnering ever-increasing international media acclaim, presents her highly anticipated debut album ‘Harriet’ on 7 October, with her new single, ‘Broken For You’ released on July 1. With her voice frequently compared to that of the late iconic Karen Carpenter, Harriet has been strongly championed by the likes of Graham Norton, Ken Bruce and Paul O’Grady at Radio 2; as well as Magic FM’s Denise Van Outen. Inspired by her dad’s record collection of music from the 60s and 70s, Harriet grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, ABBA, Carole King and The Beatles, amongst others. These influences, combined with her love for artists such as George Michael, Céline Dion and Adele, have formed the basis of Harriet’s timeless sound. Following sell-out live London shows throughout 2015/16, she now addresses phenomenal public demand as she collaborates with producer and co-writer Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle) to present her debut album ‘Harriet’.
