With a career spanning over a decade Hetty toured for many years with acclaimed Australian musician James Morrison, and can now be found on stages large and small from New Zealand to New York. “She really swings..” With a clarion tone and bright sweet sound Hetty is often compared to Stacey Kent or a young Doris Day, reminiscent of the vocalists of the 1950s. Masterful on stage, she has a large repertoire of treasures from swing to bop and is an avid collector of beautiful compositions from yesteryear. Hetty has featured at many premier jazz festivals internationally, with highlights including the New York Winter Jazz Festival (USA), Sapporo International Jazz Festival (Japan), Ascona Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Prague Proms (Czech Republic), Jazz sur Seine (France) and the Cavell Leitch International Jazz Festival (New Zealand).
