Cuban born and Spanish based pianist and producer, Ivan ‘Melon’ Lewis is a Latin Grammy nominee who is recognized as one of the most talented and influential pianists of his generation. In the 90s ‘Melon’ was noted for his work with the Cuban singer Issac Delgado, establishing an era with an inimitable sound. Ivan ‘Melon’ Lewis will perform for the first time with his trio at London Latin Jazz Fest. The artist will visit his Afro-Cuban roots in a warm journey through boleros, danzons and much more.
