Phantom of the Opera’s Joanna Strand brings together an exceptional group of jazz musicians and West End singers to celebrate the songs made famous by Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel. With arrangements of the originals in French, and new translations by Phantom of the Opera’s librettist Charles Hart, this evening’s singers Olivier Dumait, Lydia Jenkins, Gillian Keith and Luke McCall will be joined by Yaron Stavi on double bass and musical director John Bailey on piano.

"I want to make people cry, even when they don't understand my words" Edith Piaf

"My trade is a lovely one. I am a craftsman. It so happens that these days singers are better paid than blacksmiths" Jacques Brel
