James is a musical theatre singer and actor - currently appearing in the UK Tour of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's 'Sunset Boulevard'. He trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has since appeared in a variety of theatre productions in the UK and internationally. His concert work includes touring with Contempo Productions Ltd for the classical crossover act 'Ancora', singing with Elton John in concert at the Royal Albert Hall and performing for the Classical Roadshow with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. James is excited to be launching his solo EP 'James Meunier, From The Heart' and will be performing a mix of songs from the catalogue of musical theatre, as well as some personal favourites, alongside some great West End guests.

At the age of 17 he was cast as Christopher Boon in the BBC Radio 4 adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Soon after graduating from the Royal Academy, he toured with classical crossover singer Russell Watson as a tenor vocalist. James then played Teddie Deakin in The Ghost Train at the Lost Theatre, and soon after appeared as Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest at the English Theatre, Frankfurt.

Since then James' work has included originating the role of Emile Bonnet in the off West-End Revival of Michel Legrand and Alain Boubil's Marguerite at the Tabard Theatre, appearing in the original play Heaven in Berlin, directed by JMK award-winner Jamie Harper, workshopping the West End production of Fatal Attraction with Trevor Nunn for the Theatre Royal Haymarket and playing the lead role of Dorian in the UK premiere of Crush at the Belgrade Theatre/ UK Tour. 

Last year he played Clov in Endgame by Samuel Beckett for The Rose Theatre, Kingston IYAF, and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast at the Redditch Palace Theatre. This year he is appearing in the UK Tour of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Sunset Boulevard understudying the role of Joe Gillis. 

His concert work includes touring with Contempo Productions Ltd for the classical crossover act 'Ancora', singing with Elton John in concert at the Royal Albert Hall, and performing for the Classical Roadshow with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
