Following their recent success online through the Instagram page @oxfordjazzmemes, drummer Janathan Karunakaran and guitarist Max Huddart have gathered Oxford University’s finest musical talents in an 11 piece group playing a mix of funk, jazz and fusion – Jan's Collective. With an elite rhythm section, virtuosic singers and a tight team of horns, they promise nothing but a night of exhilarating music. Their first set will feature smaller pieces of the band playing jazz fusion and some original compositions, with the second set showcasing the band at full strength, playing the high-octane music that defines them.
