John Standing 'Noel, Cole and George'

The Pheasantry (Chelsea)

John Standing is one of England's most respected stage, film and television actors.  In his new show Noel, Cole and George, John will be singing in his own unique style, a combination of some of the best-known songs of Noel Coward, Cole Porter and George Gershwin, including 'Our Love Is Here To Stay', 'You're The Tops', 'Let’s Do It', and 'Anything Goes'. John finds singing the songs of the greatest American songwriters of his time and his great British contemporaries is something of a Bon Bouche. In John's own words: "It is nothing but a glorious bean feast for me to be fortunate enough to have a crack at these glorious songs. With Jamie Safir at the piano and Hattie Scott on bass, I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we do performing it."

£35.00

"Striking and charismatic... Beautifully suited to the mixture of wry wit and aching romanticism of Porter's American songbook classics... Standing really does swing."

Charles Spencer, Daily Telegraph
