After graduating from Leeds College of Music with a BA (HONS) in Jazz Studies Josie Florence made the move to London to pursue her career in music. Josie Florence has had a successful career in the UK and internationally and since moving to London quickly found herself singing at Cadogan Hall, The London Jazz Festival and at many festivals including Glastonbury and Boardmaster’s. Josie has appeared on many radio shows and provides backing vocals and piano sessions for live shows such as The X Factor. She will present her upcoming EP ‘Nightingale', a 7 tracks EP combining heartfelt originals and her favourite standards arranged by Adam Saunders. Josie recorded her EP at State of the ark studios in Richmond with her fantastic band full of professionals and in demand musicians from London. Josie is a warm, endearing and enticing performer with the biggest passion for Jazz and is excited to share her new music.
