Julian Fenton is a drummer who's versatility has led him to work in many genres for the past 30 years. He’s toured with an eclectic array of artists such as ABC, Desiree, Mansun, Motown legend Jimmy Ruffin and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown to name a few. His career also includes collaborating on the critically acclaimed Eg and Alice album '24 Years of Hunger'.

Having reinvented himself as one of the best of a new breed of British jazz drummers, Julian also brings along his multi-talented quartet. They include the Guardian/Wire British Jazz’s most promising pianist award winner Jonathan Gee, the highly coveted bassist Ben Hazelton and the highly talented South American guitar player Apleph Aguilar.

Julian’s song choice covers pop tunes in jazz and latin styles, re-harmonisations of Beatles tunes which work beautifully in jazz, Latin and afro cuban styles. This is all coupled with a unique set of tunes taken from artists of the likes of Melody Gardot, Michel Petrucciani, Herbie Hancock and many more.

Be prepared to enjoy and have fun with an exciting evening of crossover jazz.
