As a “Pop Artist” her performance with “Skin” backing Diana Brown and Barrie K Sharpe on the Jonathan Ross Show has clocked up many hits on YouTube to date. In the 90’s Kat appeared on Top of The Pops, TGIF, Richard & Judy, also in several “pop promos” with the Chemical Brothers, Eternal, Boys II Men and Sly & Robbie to name a few.

Her performance on Channel 4  “The Word”  won her a contract with Columbia Records, which led to extensive touring of the UK, Europe, and Australia.

After a standing ovation at the Montreaux Festival she went on to lend her vocals on Acid Jazz, London Records and Music for Nations record labels.

In the ”twenty-tens” the band “Kat & Co was created with her fellow band members. Their contemporary “beat” driven sound gained rave reviews. They recorded two studio albums, “I KAT THE BLUES” and “BLUES IS THE NEW COOL.

Kat and her long-term producert Francesco Accurso created a sound that is the template of a nostalgic repertoire of Blues/Soul/Jazz infused tunes sung from a female perspective. “MY ROOTS” was Kat’s first solo album released and toured in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

Today we find Kat back in the studio writing and recording a follow up second solo album, so expect a few singles and videos releases in 2023.

It is with pride that we are able to present this first class performer at Pizza Express Live Dean Street. Kat Pearson will be performing her cabaret show ‘A Lady Sings the Blues’ which features some of the very best of the blues, plus some interesting ‘showbiz’ stories. Kat’s excellent band includes the renowned Italian guitarist Francesco Accurso.

This will be an evening to remember.
