Catering To both Jazz and Soul aficionados, Kosins delivers her most intense and intimate singing other album “Uncovered Soul” and wows audiences with her impeccable, flawless phrasing and a deep-rooted passion for telling the story. Her eclectic musical palette delves deep into the rich history of both Jazz And Soul.

Back in 2012, she released “To The Ladies OF Cool”, a hip and contemporary excursion into the world of the West Coast Cool vocal sounds dedicated to classic singers Anita O’Day, Chris Connor, Julie London and the June Christy.

Kosins has recorded, performed and/or shared the stage with many well known Jazz and R&B artists including Gregory Porter, Kevin Mahogany, Terence Blanchard, Gerald Clayton, Cyrus Chestnut,  Terrell Stafford, Randy Brecker, Don Was, Michael Henderson, Peobo Bryson, Red Holloway, James Moody, to name a few.

Kathy Kosins had learned her craft as a background singer in the mid 90’s with Michael Henderson and Was/Not Was. Excellent reviews and airplay continued with subsequent projects which included a collaboration with Kevin Mahogany. Also, as a jazz educator and recording artist, she has been an  artist in residence at over 180 colleges and universities. As a songwriter, her credits include a vast amount of tunes for recordings, TV and movies. With 6 albums and 10 singles released worldwide and having performed at jazz festivals and prestigious clubs globally, Kosins is thrilled to present this sophisticated material, heretofore never performed live in the UK.

Joined by ‘One of the leading lights of contemporary jazz’, as described by LondonJazz, pianist and composer Paul Edis who has assembled a line-up of multiple award-winning musicians to perform joyful, melodic, and swinging music.
