With her vocal described as “captivatingly haunting yet beautiful all at once” Kerry Goodhind delivers the rare raw talent of a classically trained singer songwriter with the timeless contemporary pop that energises the soul through the pain of her life experiences to date.
Performing since the age of 5, writing since 13 and receiving a full scholarship to Trinity College of Music, Kerry trained in Singing, Composition and Classical piano.
She then began performing live with just her keyboard and a mic around London, briefly in a duo and working on her first album entitled ‘Integrity’. In 2016 she was invited to perform by ‘Introducing’ at BBC South West and went on to be invited to an industry showcase at Shepherds Bush Studios where she received much interest yet, at this time being pigeon-holed into the ‘Classical Crossover genre, a space Kerry Goodhind’s music doesn’t truly sit within.
Kerry showcases her best when she is performing live and some early highlights have included performing at numerous venues around the country and at the melting pot of music otherwise known as The Bedford in Balham, The Troubadour, Notting Hill Arts Centre to name a small few.
In 2018 Kerry was poised to release her second album entitled “Elevated” and mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road Studios. A reflection of her drive for perfection in her Music, the album remains officially unreleased yet you can listen to the tracks on her SoundCloud. In 2019 after a number of successful live appearances, Kerry released her first commercially successful single “Smoke and Mirrors” which was taken up to be remixed by non-other than renowned DJ’s Damon Hess and Slim Tim and successfully charted at number 11 in the UK Dance Charts.
In 2021 Kerry released her single “a Crying Game” which encompassed a funky foot tapping dance beat combined with dark and emotive lyrics as a complete contrast.
Now truly owning her own space, Kerry flew into 2022 with her brand new single “Just A Memory”. With various appearances throughout the festival season accompanied by her band, Kerry is set to release new material very soon.
