King Groovy & the Horn Stars

After three previous sell out shows at PizzaExpress, one of London’s most exciting big bands, King Groovy & the Horn Stars, are returning with a brand new show featuring the music of two of the greatest giants of the big band era: Count Basie and Quincy Jones.  The Hornstars are delighted to be joined by highly acclaimed South African jazz songstress, Amy Walton, who brings charm and elegance to everything she sings. Amy will be paying tribute to the legendary vocalist Diane Schuur performing timeless classics such as Come Rain or Come Shine, My Romance and Let’s fall in love. Expect a full-on big band sound with dexterous solos, awesome grooves and gorgeous melodies.
