LAPP “What a great f*****g artist” Tom Robinson BBC Radio 6

LEMZI “Elegantly soulful, thought provoking Ep, full of real truths and positive messages” I Am Hip Hop Magazine

A short stay in Liverpool fronting "Wild Rossa And The '88'" led to headline gigs all around the country including a memorable sell out show at The Dublin Castle. Their music was found on BBC Radio, films, adverts and possibly most lovingly of all, in the everlasting strut down Bold Street. Their self-titled EP was released in 2016.

Now, back in his much loved hometown of London, LAPP has thrown away the reigns of musical genres in an attempt to create something unique. After delving into the world of Rock and Folk music, LAPP has traded it all in for a laptop and a dark room to produce DIY, R&B music infused with Latin, Soul, Pop, Jazz and whatever sound that seems appropriate at the time to tell tales of the yearning. Combining seventies singer-songwriter soul-searching with the stylistic elements of Electronic Music, LAPP presents the human condition through its various perspectives, blurring morality and questioning the notions that we all think are immovable.

Full of anthems, ballads, shakers and heartbreakers, producer singer-songwriter LAPP performs with a rawness and passion that is sure to make you think as well as feel in a live show that is not to be missed.

London Hip-Hop artist, EXCLUSIVE Collective member, event coordinator and music mentor - LEMZI has been an active participant in the UK Hip-Hop/rap and grime scene since 2011 through his mixtape series "LemziFreeBies," radio appearances and various live shows. With a myriad of collaborations and performances since this period to the present day, there is always something new and exciting being planned. Recent music include live sessions with a full band, a jazzy-hip-hop freestyle in “Figure 8 Flipped” and some up-tempo, catchy bangers such as “That’s the Code”.

LEMZI has a resume that elucidates originality, dedication and persistence. From performing hip-hop and spoken word in the V&A museum in 2017, to being on a stellar line-up in the Jazz Café late 2017, LEMZI has been a part of and headlined some of the most exciting and distinctive nights in the UK for independent artists. Late 2016, LEMZI released his critically acclaimed debut EP, Autumnal Aura. This EP set LEMZI apart from many of his peers via a conceptual project that tackled the artistry of rhythm and poetry, police brutality, relationships, introspection and more. This EP has been followed by a series of singles as well as a year anniversary of the Autumnal recorded as a full live session, "Autumnal Aura Live Sessions (1 Year Anniversary)" available on all digital platforms.

An artist on the path to establish himself and confirm his place amongst some of his musical influences, including Kano, Nas, Eminem and more, LEMZI is an artist to follow meticulously in the future.
